Tea Culture Workshop - Leader: Stanley Wu

"Let Me Brew Tea for You"

"Let Me Brew Tea for You" is a program where our volunteers visit isolated seniors every two months. During these visits, volunteers who have a passion for tea bring their tea sets and leaves to enjoy a cup of tea while engaging in friendly conversation with the seniors. This initiative fosters connection and allows for the sharing of the health benefits and joys of tea drinking.

Documenting Joyful Moments

Our Photography Group provides a platform for passionate photographers to leverage their skills while volunteering. They capture the essence of all our events, including regular visits, senior birthday celebrations, group excursions, nostalgic music events, in-home birthday parties, and our annual celebrations. The primary goal is to beautifully document all the joyous moments and share them with our seniors, enhancing their sense of connection and joy.

Home Safety Workshop - Leader: Paul Ma

Home Safety Program

Through years of homes of seniors, we have identified numerous safety issues within their homes. In response, we established a Maintenance Team that regularly addresses these concerns. The most common issues we encounter include repairing leaks and malfunction of household appliances. Our goal is to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our seniors.

Music Workshop - Leader: Gary Li

The Power of Music

During our visits with seniors, we often hear them reminisce about moments from their youth, which can sometimes lead to feelings of melancholy. To address this, we invite vocal instructors and volunteers to organize concerts that transport them back to their younger years. These musical events provide an opportunity for emotional relief and bring joy back into their lives.

We are thrilled to welcome E & S Charity Foundation Limited - Life Magic Team to our seniors' birthday celebration. They taught our volunteers simple and captivating magic tricks, ensuring that the event is filled with joy and laughter.

Skincare Workshop - Leader: Eling Wu

DIY Natural Skincare Workshop

Since 2018, we have been hosting handcrafted DIY natural skincare workshops, starting with simple homemade lip balms and evolving to include advanced heat-processed BB Creams. Our volunteers have become proficient in these techniques. We hope that the natural skincare workshops will introduce a wider variety of skincare products and enable us to create personalized skincare items for our seniors!

Production Workshop - Leader: Eling Wu

Creative Productions: Videos, Annual Booklets, Promotional Posters & Commendation Gifts

Behind the scenes, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to create promotional materials, including posters, gifts, and multimedia presentations. For each seniors' event, they design and print eye-catching posters to publicize the activities. To show their appreciation, they also craft personalized gifts, such as handmade skincare products and New Year's decorations. At the end of the year, we produce a beautiful video and annual publication to commemorate the highlights of our programs and share with everyone involved.
